This private non-profit center is dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of stranded, sick and injured seals, sea lions, whales, dolphins and porpoises from the northern California coastal area. Self-guided tours are available. Donations are accepted.

Hours: Daily feedings at 8 am, noon, 4 pm. & 8 pm. Gift shop open daily noon-5 pm.

Visit an aquarium that was built within a “sunken’ barge. Ocean World has a touch-and-feel tidepool, shark-petting tanks and sea lion performances. See over 20 species of fish including bat rays, wolf eels, octopus, and sharks. Guided tours are available.

Hours: Daily 8 am-9 pm in summer, 9 am-6 pm in winter.
