Bear Basin Butte Fire Lookout and Pierson Cabin 

Experience life at the top of Bear Basin Butte, a remote spot in the wilderness of The Six Rivers National Forest, by staying in a historic fire lookout and a primitive 1930’s style cabin. The cabin has a wood-burning stove, no electricity, no indoor plumbing and no well. The Lookout and Pierson Cabin are rented as a pair and may be reserved for one to four nights between July 1st and September 30th.

Our Cabin on the River

Nestled in a redwood forest near Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park, on the bank of the “Wild and Scenic” Smith River, this cabin is perfect for serious fishing, family vacations, honeymoons, or a place to relax and enjoy nature. This 1930’s log cabin has been upgraded. The closest house is over 200 feet from the cabin, and not visible through the trees. It is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, and can sleep up to 11 guests.
